Time for a post
Well, this must be one of the least active blogs out there. But I figured it was about time to post something again.
Let's start with an update. I've moved again (didn't I just move a few posts ago lol?).
Now I'm in Sudbury for an awesome new job!
One of the hot topics up here is the miner's strike. But I won't even touch that one because I don't really know enough about it and it's sort of a hot potato. Let's just say I hope the strike ends soon and they can all go back to work because this city would be happier if that was the case. For that to happen I think both sides would have to offer some concessions. Well, that's true in most situation where there's a strike isn't it?
What else? ... well on the political front there's nothing happening because apparently our prime minister can just decide to shut down parliament. For however long it pleases him it seems. Does something about this sound wrong to you? (At least for a "modern democracy" as ours professes to be?). Actually it's really wrong and I find it comical (in a sad way) that the party that used to love calling the Chretien Liberal government a "dictatorship" is now doing things that are way further away from the spirit of democracy. Shame on them all!
... can't say I'm excited about Ignatieff though. I wish somebody like Paul Martin or Frank McKenna came back to give it another shot. Maybe we'll have to wait for Justin Trudeau... but do Canadians actually like a politician with Charisma? I think we distrust that almost on principle here... it seems to "American" maybe...
Well, what a random post, but there you go. I should post more!

Little did I know that the guy with Charisma would turn out to be Jack Layton! Wow...
